Father, Ben is the doctor in Calico Village and helps all the Critters stay in tip-top shape. Mother, Nikki is a nurse in Calico Village and likes taking care of children. Brother, Oliver writes the most beautiful poems and recites them during writing class. Sister, Rebecca likes writing fairy tales, especially about princesses.
We love Calico Critters! We have a Calico Critters table set up in our store and it is always occupied. With an assortment of little Critters, and lots of furniture and accessories, the play we see is so positive and whimsical. We see lots of sharing, turn taking, cooperation and gentle handling of the Critters. They are extraordinarily well made. We’ve had the same little critters and their furniture, out for kids to play with for five years, and nothing has ever broken!
We are always impressed with these little critters. You can build up a whole Calico Critter World by having friends and family add to them every birthday or holiday. And we know that kids (especially girls) play with them until they are 9 and 10 years old. Definitely a timeless toy!!!!
